Ěbarkör is the name given to the lands conquered by the Dremsa Rešar (Sword Knights), a military order founded to aid in the conquest of the Vordakord, during which they conquered the island of Rukešam which they used as a base to subdue the primitive inhabitants of the Ŕkesam Ňrkrevar ([AY-kem-sahm OH-kreh-vahr] “Icy Archipelago”). It is not technically part of Dňkrŕkr, but the order’s highest officers and the ecclesiastical states have status of Lords in Dňkrŕkr, as do the Free Cities and the High Master of the Rardam Urdam in his capacity of Lord of Sumdurk. In addition, the Island of Rukešam is considered to be part of the Vordakord for purposes of military command.
Ěbarkör consists of lands held directly by the Sword Knights, known as the Urdamxös ([UR-dahm-xoos] “State of the Order”), three ecclesiastical domains, two Free Cities, a lordship under the Rardam Urdam, and five Arch-Barons, a title used in Ěbarkör to indicate a vassal of the Order.
